Our Roots
In the 70's our parents, Ralph and Marge Wortz, established Keggi Fair German Shepherds.
Our mother purchased our first German Shepherd when our family lived in Peoria Illinois; I was six years old. Our puppy, Lady Regina III, was the best dog that two little girls could own. Lady was loyal, athletic and actually babysat my sister and I while our mother worked. Lady Regina III was our "Best Friend".

When our mother remarried, our family moved to the Quad Cities. Our stepfather, who was not a "big dog" person (at the time), surprised us with a beagle! Although we loved Alphie, we were estatic to purchase a German Shepherd from a local kennel, after Alphie died. Wortz's Lady Penelope became the families foundation bitch. With the exception of attending and completing graduate school in 2000, I have never been without a German Shepherd.

2009 Successes and Brags!
Champion Joelle's Mane Event, "MiMi", passed her Temperament Test in Iowa City.
"MiMi" will be bred in the Spring, 2010, to 3X Select Excellent Champion Kaleef's Joshua v Kenlyn HT, TC
Champion Keggi Fair's UBETCHA completed her championship requirements under Mr. Michael Cheeks at the GSDC of St. Louis in May.
Bett will be campaigned in both the All Breed and Specialty Shows in 2010 and handled by Diane Brown
Keggi Fair's Go Diego Go was awarded his majors this year and is handled by Diane Brown
